In times gone by spice trading between India through the Middle East leading to North Africa & The Mediterranean was at its peak. A melange of exotic cultures melded together to create today's different cuisines and customs. This was the inspiration behind Sharma Ethnic Cuisines, a new restaurant in Mdina by the creator of the original Shisha Restaurant & Lounge. Serving not only an eclectic mix of authentic traditional cuisines from India, North Africa & The Mediterranean but at Sharma we try to offer something more than food and drink… a feast for the senses, a truly wonderful experience from the exotic decor to our mouth-watering menu right through our excellent service. Enjoy a relaxing lunch for two at the Sharma Ethnic Cuisines, a new restaurant in Mdina housed in Casa Magazzini, an antique building used by the knights as stores for their ammunition and you cannot only enjoy the beautiful characteristics of the magnificent building, but you can also dine al fresco on our large terrace with a wonderful view from the top of the bastions.
