Full time short courses.
The course will be delivered through a series of workshops during which the participants will be first shown the basic concepts and different elements which together make a game. The participants will then be introduced to the features of the software packages that will be used to create graphic and audio assets for a game by means of tutorials. During these tutorials the participants will have the opportunity to use the software hands-on and create the elements of a basic game. Free, and open-source software compatible with all major operating systems will be used where possible, such as Blender, a complete 3D content creation suite, and Unity 3D, a complete game development engine for Web, PC, Mac, iOS and Android.
Four practicing specialists in the field of Game design will be delivering the course.

Day 1: Introduction to digital games, 2D image creation/editing basics.
Day 2 & 3: 3D modelling basics, Animation concepts.
Day 4 & 5: Music and sound effects for games, using Unity to create the game.
