THE DEPUTY SPEAKER ATTENDS THE 3RD EUROPEAN SMALL STATES’ CONFERENCE OF PRESIDENTS OF PARLIAMENT
On the 27th and 28th November 2008, Liechtenstein will host the 3rd European Small States’ Conference of Presidents of Parliament.
The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, the Hon. Carmelo Abela, will be participating in the Conference which will be debating the following issues:-
(a) Conditions for individuals to enter and reside in European Small States and consequences thereof;
(b) Tourism as an important point in the economy of European Small States; and
(c) Particularities of the labour markets of the European Small States.
The conference will be officially opened by Mr Klaus Wanger, President of the Liechtenstein Parliament (Landtag).
Mr Otmar Hasler, Head of Government and H.S.H. Prince Hans-Adam II of Liechtenstein will also be meeting the participants attending this conference.
