eComm dinner Nov 12th – SFO Marriott
This message was sent out sometime back but there are 30 spaces still left (out of 80) and since the group has grown somewhat larger I thought that I’d resend it, thanks —->

Sometime back I was chatting with Tom (of the Thomas Howe Company). We’d both been complaining to each other that the Emerging Communications conference (http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http://eCommConf.com) was too far away in the future (March 03-05). We both wanted to have a social meeting before then with some of the people driving [or interested in] the emerging communications space.
Tom suggested that I host a dinner before Christmas. But I said that I was too busy with the conference to consider investing the required time. But Tom offered his help and suggested that we keep it as simple as possible by booking private space at a hotel which is easy to get to, then split the bill by the number of attendees at the end of the night. So that’s exactly what we have planned. The estimated cost according to the hotel is 75 USD/head.
I’ve booked the private dinner space (max. capacity 80 people) at the SFO Marriott (Burlingame). It’s easy to get to see here:
http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http://ecommconf.com%2F2009%2Ftravel%2Fdirections%2F
Already just from the first batch of personal invites 25 [now 50] spaces have been taken.
I’d like to extend the invitation to members of the Facebook group.
To save wasting time, to have the best people there since places are limited and to make sure the dinner is as beneficial for all as it can be please don’t apply unless:
- You plan to attend. Please no “maybes” and no shows.
- You are involved with something interesting in the emerging
communications space [even if it's interest in the space itself]
If interested please ping me an email with a little about yourself to lee.dryburgh [Email address: lee.dryburgh #AT# gmail.com - replace #AT# with @ ]
Thanks, Lee
