PR12/08/2008 ALTERNATTIVA DEMOKRATIKA DEPLORES ATTACK ON LABOUR MP

Alternattiva Demokratika expressed its solidarity with Labour MP Anthony Zammit, who today was beaten up, bound and gagged in his house by hooded robbers.

Victor Galea, Alternattiva Demokratika – The Green Party Secretary General, stated: “Whilst expressing our anger at such intolerable violence, AD augurs that the police will be able to bring to justice as soon as possible the vile perpetrators of this barbarous deed”.
