HI ALL,
AS most of YOU KNOW, THIS IS the THIRD TIME THAT Stephen Attard is DOING THIS SWIMMING CHALLENGE. THE FIRST TIME was on the 10 SEPT 2006 where he swam for 5 hrs from ST. PAUL’S BAY ISLANDS to Malta. The total donations collected then amounted to 1,099 EUROS (LM 472).
IN 2007 STEVE WANTED TO DO ANOTHER challenge TO HELP LAND group with the aim of SUBSIDIsinG further LAND transport EXPENSES. In fact ON THE 22ND JULY 2007 HE broke his previous record SWiMming FROM KEMMUNA TO MARFA. A 7 hours swim which generated 2,226 EUROS (LM 956) in donations.
NOW TODAY WEEK on ………….. at 8.00am Steve will BE DOING ANOTHER Challenge FROM GOZO TO MARFA. Steve is determined to break his previous records increasing his swim to around 8 hrs and trying to collect more funds than before.
Steve is doing his utmost to raise funds for THE GROUP AND WE REALLY APPRECIATE’s STEVE’s efforts to help LAND AND BREAK HIS BARRIERS TOO.
