MS Navision - Changing Tables that contain Data

C/SIDE is designed to ensure that you never lose data when you modify the design of a table that contains data.

When changing a table that contains data:

• Change name of field;
• Change data type of field only if field contains no data;
• You can always add field to a table;
• To delete a field, you must delete all data of that field before deleting actual data;
• You can always increase length of string field. Decreasing is possible if the determined by longest string in the column;
