THE HON. CHRIS SAID MEETS MEMBERS OF THE ASSOCIAZIONE NAZIONALE DEI COMUNI ITALIANI
The Hon. Chris Said, Parliamentary Secretary for Public Dialogue and Information today met with the members of the Associazione Nazionale dei Comuni Italiani (ANCI) during their visit to Malta.
ANCI is an Italian Organisation which represents all Italian Local Governments. The seat of the organisation is based in Rome with regional offices all over Italy and an office dealing in European matters in Brussels.
The representatives of ANCI Mr Cirimele, Deputy Secretary General and Mr Gargani, Director Operations are visiting Malta on an invitation by the Maltese Local Councils Association to sign a cooperation agreement. Whilst in Malta they shall also be discussing with representatives of the Local Councils Association issues and ways of collaboration in areas such as EU Projects, Training of Staff and the Formation of the Mediterranean Association that will be working within the Regions’ Committee of the Euro.
H.E. Mr Paolo Andrea Trabalza, Ambassador of Italy to Malta was also present for the meeting.
