New this month:
+ Manufacturers share by Operator for our top markets. This provides visibility into the channel dynamics and which manufacturers sell large numbers of devices to particular Operators’ users.
+ Smartphone traffic by OS. In addition to showing Smartphone share by manufacturer, we fielded several requests to breakdown our Smartphone traffic (representing 24.9% of our overall traffic worldwide) by OS so we’ve added it to this month’s report.
+ iPhone data. Many publishers in the AdMob Network have built iPhone-specific sites and are seeing increasing traffic. This month we show iPhone data by country-market. We also look at the breakdown of WiFi traffic vs. Wireless (EDGE) traffic via Network Operators (AT&T in the U.S.).
+ The report continues to be a great way to track new devices in the market. For example, this month we began tracking the Three Skypephone by Amoi, which is already in the top 5 devices by traffic in the UK - on only one Operator.
