Wine, Art and Jazz
———————————————————————
Live Jazz Trio & Artistic Exhibition
Saturday 5th April, Cafe Noto, 2nd Level Bay Street, 11.30pm onwards - Free Entrance
The Music
Everybody enjoys live music, and when we are talking about talented and experienced musicians, even more so. In our previous editions we had a Jazz Trio; an acoustic guitarist (Delli), a percussionist (Zizza) and a saxophone player (Ruth Abela). This is probably the main focus of the night, and that is why a lot of importance is placed on choosing the right musicians. On popular demand this trio has been re-confirmed.
The Art
The second concept of the night is the focus on Art as a medium of creative expression and communication. Art has long been appreciated, and having an artist, sometimes two, display their art at the event increases the quality of the night. For this event we will have an exhibition by Ed Schembri. (Refer to attached pics below)
The Wine
The third concept of the night is the Culture of Wine. It is evident from the amount of wine bars that are springing up, that contemporary Maltese people, have a heartfelt appreciation for Wine.
