I’m willing to bet that we can all summon the image of a junior high health class in Anywhere, America and the dreaded “banana simulation.”

No? Oh, you’re missing out.

Actually, Orthia thinks it’s the kids who are missing out. She makes a really compelling case for why kids and teens deserve free, accurate sex education, now. Agree or not, it’s a great lens with a strident point of view, supporting materials, and a worthwhile and fair debate.

What do you think about sex education? Do kids do best when told the facts or is telling them to “just say No” the way to go?
