The ETC offers courses aimed at helping people seeking employment, or alternative employment, and to acquire or improve the required skills. The corporation is continually revising its courses and adapts to the needs of the current labour market.

Courses are held at the Skills Centre in Hal Far, the Training Centre in Valletta, or at other approved venues made available by the Education Division and private organisations. In Gozo, courses are delivered at the ETC Employment and Training Centre in Mgarr Road, Xewkija.
