About the Writing Winning Proposals and the Art of Oral Presentations Workshop- October 22-24
Since the rewrite of FAR Part 15, contract evaluators have been permitted to compare one offeror’s proposal directly against the other competitors’ rather than just comparing each proposal to the evaluation factors. This change, and a new emphasis on the use of oral presentations, has elevated the need for proposal teams to clearly identify and effectively communicate value and winning solutions. The Writing Winning Proposals and the Art of Oral Presentations Workshop reviews proposal writing fundamentals and delivers strategies to improve outcomes, eliminate mistakes and set your solution apart from the competition. A full day is dedicated to developing oral presentation skills and techniques.
Registration Fees- Small Business- $1195 per person - Industry - $1295 per person
About the Government Contract Payment Principles Workshop- October 25-26
A solid understanding of the payment rules, regulations, and “tricks of the trade” can help A/R teams speed government payment, improve their cash flow, and simplify collections procedures. This workshop combines instruction on the rules and regulations surrounding prompt payment with field-tested strategies used by top contractors to improve their balance sheets. Our expert instructor, a practitioner in the field, also touches on the sometimes overlooked factors that contribute to payment delays — agency funding and appropriations, poorly negotiated payment terms, and more — and shares techniques to combat them.

About the Cost Accounting Standards Workshop- October 29-31
The Cost Accounting Workshop will help attendees understand the rules and regulations of the CAS and allow them to routinely monitor themselves against the CAS criteria presented. Attendees will strengthen CFO-recommended core competencies for financial managers, including increasing program effectiveness; understanding financial, budget and management issues; and decreasing/maintaining unit costs.

About the Performance Based Contracting Workshop- November 5-7
This three-day course will assist agencies in meeting their performance-based acquisition (PBA) goals. The course provides a step-by-step analysis that will enable you to successfully conduct a performance-based acquisition and minimize the risk of protest. Topics include: overview of the performance based acquisition process, identification and explanation of the key instances for performance based requirements, development of those requirements including stronger program rationale, description of work, definitive outputs, and forming and using performance metrics. Learn a step by step approach you can use to get the right requirements defined at the right time so that better contractors can be chosen and stronger performance can occur.
Registration Fees- Small Business: $1195 person - Industry: $1295 per person
About the Performance Work Statements Workshop- November 8-9
Based on a series of legislative acts and the changing perspective and emphasis in Congress, trying to achieve stronger performance is not merely “nice to have”, but becoming the modus operandi for agency programs. Yet, doing a better job of defining and measuring performance has been an “eternal” challenge in federal activities. Given the mandate to develop and implement the “pieces” for effective performance management, this two-day seminar will create synergy as proof positive that performance management can work and work better. Attend and learn a step by step approach you can use to get both stakeholder buy in and performance you and your organization requires. Live examples, case studies and best practices will enable accountability to increase among the contract, program, strategic planning, investment, budget and enterprise architecture domains.
Registration Fees- Small Business: $895 per person - Industry: $995 per person
