Situated at the imposing Palazzo Spinola in St. Julians, L-Ghonnella Restaurant has established itself as one of the best restaurants serving Maltese contemporary cuisine. The restaurant offers patrons an interesting and varied Maltese menu, based on traditional recipes. The kitchen has endeavored to produce a menu that merges time proven recipes with modern and attractive presentation. During the winter season the restaurant operates from the Palace’s cellar which used to serve as the servants’ quarters in the 17^th Century. The cellar’s restaurant offers cosy, warm and serene ambience with candles lit throughout the restaurant to add a touch or romance.
