Located at the top of Mellieha Hill, Il-Mithna Restaurant has over the past few months exceeded all expectations. This 17th century windmill has been turned into a successful and modern eatery which attracts friends, families and businessmen alike… all of whom have come to appreciate that they will be greeted by a traditional cosy atmosphere and good old fashioned customer service.
The daily specialities and a` la carte menu consist of traditional recipes yet with modern touches… they’re indeed irresistible to say the least! Popular dishes include lamb shanks, creamy chicken and mushroom risotto, tender beef strips in a delicious sauce with fresh vegetables and roasted potatoes.
For dessert, take our advice and opt for the warm Bailey’s flavoured homemade bread and butter pudding served with cinnamon ice-cream. You’ll be surprised at the prices too, a definite competition for most other restaurants!
