Maltese Shareholders and Bondholders of Corinthia visit investment project in Libya
A group of around eighty Maltese Corinthia shareholders and bondholders are currently in Tripoli visiting the Corinthia Bab Africa Hotel and the site of Palm City, which is another Corinthia investment in Tripoli. The visit is coordinated by Corinthia’s management to provide a first hand experience of their investment to their shareholders.
On July 7 the Maltese shareholders attended Holy Mass celebrated by Tripoli Bishop Giovanni Martinelli at St Francis Church, together with the French-speaking community in Tripoli.
On this occasion the shareholders had the opportunity to meet Maltese Ambassador Dr Joseph Cassar and other Malta based officers at the Embassy of Malta in Tripoli.
Ambassador Cassar highlighted the importance of their contribution in allowing Corinthia to be a continued reminder of joint Maltese-Libyan investment, internationally, particularly in a developing Africa. Ambassador Cassar also met the Maltese shareholders at a Gala Dinner organised by Corinthia Bab Africa in their honour on July 8.
During their stay the Maltese shareholders will have the opportunity to visit Tripoli’s Museum and the archaeological sites of Leptis Magna and Sabratha.
