If he did decide to return (which I profoundly hope he won’t) would he still be able to win (I’m assuming he would only return to a top team - probably Ferrari)? The only successful F1 comeback I can remember was Niki Lauda, who retired in 1979, returned in 1982 and won a third WDC in 1984. …
