Paguro generator sets are totally water-cooled to produce very low noise levels. They are also known for their diminutive weight and size, qualities which make them favourites with the nautical leisure market.
The Paguro engine is reinforced by a stainless steel jacket around the windings. This drastically reduces noise levels as there is no need for ventilation openings into the sound shield. Watercooling boosts efficiency which results in a unit employing less engine power for each electrical KW supplied. Since no heat is given out, the Paguro watercooled units help keep engine compartments cool in warm summers.
The Paguro 3000 Compact goes a step ahead. It is fitted with a watercooled permanent magnet generator which reduces further the size and weight of the unit. It comes with a stainless steel exhaust and sprayed water manifold, supplemented by a high surface area cooling jacket and reversed water flow.
No heat or vibrations are transferred through the rubber pipe. The soundproof capsule is reinforced in multi-sheets of fiberglass, with high density neoprene to muffle noise and insulate heat. It opens in two half parts, making it suitable for tricky narrow fittings.
To keep the unit efficiency disconnected from the external air temperature, that in a machinery room can be high, engine lubricating oil and engine combustion air are water-cooled by heat exchangers.
The Remote control panel comes with a 10 m cable and a connecting plug. It incorporates a start/stop switch with a proportional LED load indicator. The generator includes an emergency hand starting system that runs from the automatic device. This ensures functionality of the generator even with completely flat batteries.
To reduce maintenance and improve reliability, the generator comes with a bronze self primming cooling water pump that is coupled to the engine without making use of Vbelt. Further more, it uses an advanced anti vibration system based on four internal soft shock absorbers. One can also choose to have four extra external shock absorbers.
