The idea is to have a performance cruiser with large interior volumes.
The closest Wally gets to a production yacht is the Wally 80, which combines the hull lines of Farr Yacht Design with the styling and interiors of Wally and Lazzarini Pickering Architects.
The yacht comes in several different versions. Given the same hull, the Wally 80 can be personalised in the appendages, deck and interiors, offering up to 16 combinations. The keel can be configured as fixed, canting, and lifting while the deck can be a Flush Deck, Deckhouse, or Terrace on the sea.
The options for the interiors are related to the deck solution, and are based on the three and four guest cabin layouts, and owner’s foreward and aft layouts. The large volumes of the hull design provide for the three guest cabins with double berths, no bunks. The canting keel does not affect the interior layout because it is stored under the soles.
