American Idol has come to Squidoo… by way of our newest nonprofit partner, Save the Children!
On April 24th, American Idol will premiere a special 2-hour episode to benefit charities, including Save the Children, that support programs fighting poverty in Africa and the U.S. (Incidentally, that’s 1 out of every 6 children in the U.S.)
And Save the Children is inviting you to get in on the action — whether you’re an American Idol fan or not — by (you guessed it!) building a lens.
So tell us: who’s your idol? Everyone has a role model who inspires them. A parent, teacher, athlete, activist, artist, writer, celebrity… or how about Sanjaya?
We’ll even give the best “Idol” lenses their 15 minutes of fame in an upcoming lens of the day.
