Since our re-design we have been busy working on tweaking the site and preparing new sections. Blog Flux now does over a million pageviews every month, and it continues to grow thanks to your support. We are announcing a new section today: Blog Flux Web Hosting Directory - http://webhostingdir.blogflux.com/ Searching Google for "web hosting directory" gives over a million results. If you have ever looked for a web host, you will know that 99.99% of those sites are garbage. They are shills trying to steer you towards their advertisers using buzzwords like showcase, awards, recommended, and so forth. Our Web Hosting Directory is an actual directory, listing all hosts equally. We have a powerful search feature that lets you drill down what you are looking for. But to make this really work, we need your help. We need you to visit the directory and add your reviews. We already have the most popular blog web hosts listed (from hosted platforms like Blogger to web hosts like Dreamhost). Only if our entire community (now with over 70,000 registered members) adds their reviews can the directory be truly useful to everyone. We have also added a very cool tool - Uptime Tracker. A lot of web hosts make fancy claims of 99.999% uptime, but how can you be sure they aren't liars? Using a network of 23 different servers (all in different locations), we check these web hosts every 10 minutes. Even better, we have extended the system so we can also track your blogs.
