Standard Horizon VH310
This resembles a handset from a full dual station radio. The handset can be used to switch the radio on and a nice feature is that in order to protect your hearing, the handset volume is automatically turned down from the cockpit speaker level when it is removed from its cradle.
The alphanumeric keypad is a major feature, and the microphone is not very big which is a plus. It sits in a cradle unlike other sets which hang on a hanger, which makes for a stable platform for which to use the keyboard.
