  • Use nuts, small fruits, seeds and dried fruit for snacking, instead of sweets and chocolate;

  • Don’t eat the skin of the turkey or chicken, the benefits of eating white meat are ruined by eating a very fatty part of the bird;

  • Eat more vegetables than fatty foods, buy different types of vegetables and experiment such as with sweet potatoes, mange tout;

  • Steam, grill, bake and steam-fry your foods;

  • Chew and eat slowly;

  • Drink at least two liters of water a day;

  • Keep your consumption of wheat and dairy products to a minimum to avoid bloating and getting any digestive problems;

  • Use fresh herbs and garlic for floavouring, not salt and spicy additives;

  • Drink either before the meal or after, to avoid digestive problems and diluting the digestive juices;

  • Exercise regularly, daily if possible;

  • Find time for relaxation;

  • Laugh;

  • Hug your family. A really heart felt felt hug releases tension and emotion;

  • Play games, be childish and release tension by using up energy.
