Plastimo’s roller reefing system is designed to fit over the existing forestay and comes either as a single-groove luff (S) or twin groove (T).

Both models offer a choice of link plates that attach the reefing drum to the bottom of the forestay. The chainplate version is for yachts with no turnbuckle and enables the reefing drum to be set lower.

The turnbuckle version which has longer chainplates, supports the drum higher off deck where a turnbuckle is present. The company offers two solutions for halyard wrap:
