We’ll start this maneuver sailing on Starboard tack close hauled. Everyone will be on the rail except the Driver (Ian) Myself, and the Trimmers. Main Trimmer will be in the companion way, Jib Trimmer will be at the working jib winch.

· Ian will call “Ready to Tack”

Driver and Main

• Once everyone has responded ‘Ready” Driver will say “Tacking”
• Driver will then start bring the boat into the wind.
• Main Trimmer will trim the main to help turn the boat.
