Scream Daisy have been nominated for 2 awards at this years’ Bay Music Awards, for BEST SONG with “What They Say” and for BEST BAND.
The BMAs will be held on Tuesday, 12DEC06 at the Eden Arena, eve of a public holiday. Bay’s station Manager, Terry Farrugia states: “While we are pleased to give local artists the platform their talent deserves by airing their material frequently, we are also glad to organise such an award show that allows them to perform in front of thousands of adoring fans.”
The winners will be chosen by SMS voting. Voting is now open and will remain open until Wednesday, 06DEC06.

All those voting have the opportunity to win one of the following fantastic prizes.

For the first time ever, a live broadcast of The Bay Music Awards will be aired on TVM starting at 10pm. A new award will be introduced during the 2006 Bay Music Awards…The Viewers’ Choice Award. TV viewers will have a chance to vote for their favourite performance of the night. Voting for this award will take place during the show and will close on Tuesday, 19DEC. The winner of this award will be announced on 89.7 Bay on Wednesday, 20DEC06.
