How to use Teams

A team provides a vehicle for:

- Combining skills;

- Securing commitment and involvement;

- Sharing expertise and options in pursuit of a specific objective.

The objective could be:

- Improve quality;

- Design a product;

- Solve a problem;

- Carry out departmental work.

Managers may choose from unlimited team options but there are five main categories of teams:

- Product development teams;

- Project teams;

- Quality teams;
