Decision Trees
A decision tree shows the complete picture of a potential decision. It allows a manager to graph alternative decision paths, observe the outcomes of the decisions, and see how the decisions relate to future events.
A decision tree comprises decision points (squares), and competitive moves (circles).
Decision trees require a manager to include only important decisions and events or results i.e. ones having high consequences that need to be compared.
